Pump HQ Scanner privacy policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Pump HQ Scanner is a browser extension that adds labels, a coin panel and launch alerts to axiom.trade, pump.fun and Terminal (terminal.pump.fun, trade.padre.gg). This policy explains what it stores and what it sends.
What stays on your computer
Your settings, keywords, the dev wallets you track, your Scanner key, your recent alerts and the last coin row you clicked (used for 20 seconds, so a coin you open in a new tab shows up right) are saved in your browser's extension storage. They are not uploaded anywhere, except the Scanner key as described below.
What the extension sends
- Coin addresses of the coins on your screen go to public market-data services (DexScreener, GeckoTerminal, pump.fun) to look up prices and candles for the coin panel.
- Which version is current: a few times a day the extension asks the Pump HQ server for the latest version number, so its icon can show NEW when an update is out. Nothing about you is sent with it. A copy installed from the Chrome Web Store skips this, because the store updates it.
- A live feed of new pump.fun coins comes from PumpPortal's public feed. Nothing about you is sent to it.
- If you add a Scanner key: your key, the addresses of the coins on your Pulse or Trenches screen, and the address of a coin you check go to the Pump HQ scanner server. The server works out the row colours and badges for those coins (the dev's launch record, copycats, LARPs, reused X links, hot narratives) from public market data, confirms your subscription, runs trap checks and serves the "really good devs" and hot-narratives lists. It keeps a count of trap checks per key per day so it can enforce the daily limit, checks the key with Whop (where you bought it), remembers each coin's result for a few minutes so repeat requests are fast, and counts the install IDs (below) that use a key each day so one key can't be shared by many people. Your IP address is only used to rate-limit requests and, scrambled and kept only in memory, to let an update or reinstall on the same network take over your key within a minute. It is never saved.
- An anonymous install count: once a day, the extension sends the Pump HQ scanner server a random ID made at random on your computer (it isn't made from anything about you or your wallet), its version number, and whether a Scanner key is active. That's all it sends. The server only keeps a short scrambled version of the ID for each day, so Pump HQ can count how many people use the extension.
What it never does
It never reads your wallet, your balances or your trades. It never signs transactions. It does not collect your browsing history, and no data is sold or shared for advertising.
